Standard on All Astra Commercial Machines:

Self-tamping.
Pre-infusion capabilities.
Nickel-Plated copper boiler with lifetime warranty.
Brewing system with thermocirculation and infusion provides absolute temperature consistency and quality coffee.
Vacuum valve to avoid milk from entering the boiler.
Automatic water fill.
Modular construction makes Astra the easiest machine to service and maintain.
Internal motor with rotary-vane Procon pump.
Automatic low-water shut-off switch with reset.
Automatic models are programmable by the user.
Microprocessor-controlled diagnostic system for quick troubleshooting.
Internal power breaker for added safety.
When machine is turned "on" the heating element will not activate unless there is enough water in the boiler.
Motor will shut off if no water reached the Procon pump.
No electrical switches below the machine to avoid risk and hazard.
All American brass flare fittings reduce future cost of service.
Hooked on Espresso offers several warranty packages for labor to repair/replace warranted parts.
Two (2) year manufacturers limited warranty on parts except gaskets, knobs, and normal wear (maintenance items) parts unless factory defective.

All Astra machines operate with ground coffee and/or pods interchangeably - no additional accessories are necessary.
Optional Deep Filter Holder for large amounts of extraction. Also available is an optional stand that has been designed to extract the perfect cup of short espresso.
Standard panel colors: silvertone, coppertone, red, blue, black. (Can also match any color upon request.)
Optional Automatic Foamer can be installed on all Astra Machines.
